TruHorizon Employee Spotlight: Terrie Brinkmeier

Terrie Brinkmeier, Office Administrator
The Rocky Mountain region has seen significant growth in recent years. With that growth came the need for someone versatile, quick to learn, and proactive, who could be a valuable asset to the organization. Terrie has proven to be all of these things and more. After working in roofing & restoration for years and seeking more career stability, Terrie joined the TruHorizon team as our Office Administrator. Her work ethic and dedication to excellence has helped our Rocky Mountain office become a successful arm into the Rockies. Her responsibilities are many and always changing. Truth be told we are not sure what we would do without her! She is always ready and willing to do whatever is needed — and that kind of attitude does not go unnoticed. From the VPs to our operations crew, members of our TruHorizon family rave about her communication skills and ability to multitask.
Terrie is asked to wear many hats and help with many things — from maintaining the Greeley office to assisting our Corporate office with HR and Accounting issues — which she always executes with positivity and efficiency. “Terrie is so polite. She is always prompt with any tasks I ask of her and is willing to help with anything to get the job done. She is so personable; I really enjoy working with her” reports Becky Martin of the TruHorizon HR Corporate office.
And likewise, Terrie has great things to say about her co-workers and her time with TruHorizon. “Everyone I work with day-to-day has been nothing but nice and helpful. There has not been a day yet that I don’t feel like I belong. It’s so important to keep communication open between regions because we are all working towards the same goal.” In her first year onboard, Terrie has made a big impact on the culture within the office and organization. Her open communication and creative ideas foster an environment of teamwork among the TruHorizon offices.
Outside of the office, Terrie has a wonderful family and many interesting hobbies. She and her husband, Brian, moved from Washington State to Colorado several years ago. They have adult children that live in the Northwest and a daughter who resides with them who recently received her EMT degree. Other than their children, Terrie and Brian are also puppy parents to two beautiful labs, Jack and Emma. In their free time, Brian and Terrie purchase abandoned storage units and sell the contents out of their small shop. You might imagine her life is much like “Storage Wars” with all of the unique things they’ve likely come across, but Terrie says it’s rare to find anything extraordinary. However, at one point they did have the opportunity to pass along contents of a unit to the next of kin when it was discovered that the owner was deceased. Solid proof of what we have seen day-in and day-out; Terrie has such a big heart and helpful demeanor. There is no question of the value she brings to TruHorizon!
It’s with so much joy that we give a big shout out to Terrie and the wonderful job that she does for TruHorizon every day. We thank her for being such an integral part of our TruHorizon family!
